The design collections of international brands have arrived in the showrooms of the Pitaro Hecht house, featuring a rich array of desirable design items, each brand offering a contemporary interpretation within the Pitaro Hecht brand ensemble.
Pitaro Hecht’s vision is to present the Israeli audience each year with a unique and inspiring variety of international furniture brands under one roof, specializing in total look home design. Each new collection showcases its statement according to the trends in the international design arena.
“For 2024, we are seeing design trends that include the use of calm colors such as sand, beige, and earth tones, connecting us to a search for calm colors that bring tranquility, warmth, and security into the home. We’ve noticed this trend among customers seeking items in these hues, especially during the war months, wanting to leave the storm outside and come into a warm home as a sort of refuge, adopting light and soft colors. This trend also aligns with the quiet luxury trend in fashion,” says Liron Blumner, Marketing Vice President of Pitaro Hecht.
“Another trend we see is the demand for ‘conversation sofas.’ These are comfortable, two-way, and side sofas that allow for pleasant conversations while sitting. The demand for wider sofas is increasing, for example, sofas with a depth of 120 or 140 cm that can accommodate more guests, making the sofa a social element that fosters conversation,” adds Blumner.
“Moreover, we continue to see the use of softer and more pleasant fabrics, less leather, and more faux fur or boucle fabrics, which have been prominent in the past year across a range of furniture items. Natural materials are very prominent in the collections, with a trend of returning to natural wood combined with marble/metal and light, soft fabrics. The combination of curved accessories, ottomans, and sofa bites that create shelving and separation ‘breaks’ the clean look with statement pieces in the space.”
The new collections of top brands have recently landed in the Pitaro Hecht showrooms, including:
Visionnaire: Redefining the essence of the home, offering clients high-level finishes and a complete design envelope that includes interior design and treatment of all home spaces. This is achieved through unique product designs created by a team of Italian designers, responsible for high-end carpentry, lighting design, art pieces, custom wallpapers, and coverings.
Fendi Casa: Now leading clear trends and becoming a must-have brand in the homes of all luxury brand enthusiasts. This year, the brand continues the facelift it announced last year, with an innovative design line, featuring a delicate and elegant branding language in the spirit of the brand’s new creation. This is reflected in the slightly metamorphosed Fendi logo, appearing more decorative and prominent at the ends of tubes, in subtle embossing, and at the bottom corners of sofas and armchairs.
Ditre Italia: A brand with a young and modern spirit, the result of Italian design and production, continues to collaborate with leading designers who faithfully represent the company’s DNA of uncompromising quality design. Among the new models are modular seating systems combining refined curves without compromising on high comfort and the proper backrest support, as well as seating systems made up of three organic, hydrophilic, and water-repellent models suitable for poolside placement.
Roche Bobois: Continuing this year to boast and magnify successful collaborations with leading world designers, including Jean-Paul Gaultier, Sacha Lakic, and Marcel Wanders, alongside international fashion houses like Kenzo Maison and Missoni Home. The collection continues to feature the brand’s iconic models, including the “Bubble” series designed by Sacha Lakic, which includes ottomans, sofas, armchairs, and a bed inspired by natural and mineral shapes and handcrafted.
Another timeless model that continues to shine is the Mah Jong sofa designed by Hans Hopfer in collaboration with fabrics from Missoni Home, built from three elements and allowing for endless composition building. The iconic zigzag stripes and floral designs created exclusively for the brand lend this model its surprising yet faithful character.
Porada: The Italian brand, operating for about 70 years and sanctifying the use of raw wood and meticulous craftsmanship, presents the Twenty-Three collection in neutral colors combining earth tones, with continuity as the keyword. The new collection’s items provide the perfect combination of unique raw materials and beautiful crafted wood that stands out in the new models. Wood, as a raw material, has always been a central and dominant component in home design, synonymous with warmth and natural aesthetics that appeal to nature. In the spirit of Tu Bishvat, the Porada brand, guided by sustainability values, plants a new tree for every tree cut down, and the production processes also use environmentally friendly technologies.
