OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Omaha Police Department is looking for two people believed to be behind a robbery Wednesday afternoon.
OPD said officers arrived at The Cannabis Factory near 13th and Pierce Streets just after noon.
According to OPD, employees told officers one person entered the store with a hatchet, demanded some of the store’s products, and jumped over the counter.
As they were taking the products, a second person stood at the door with a machete.
The two eventually took off, heading eastbound on Pierce.
OPD said both robbers had their faces covered.
One was wearing a white plaid shirt and blue jeans.
The other was wearing a black shirt and tan shorts.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are asking for the public’s help.
