65 year old woman from Ramganj in Jaipur died for covid-19
Jaipur. A 65-year-old woman infected with corona virus died in Rajasthan. Officials said that the woman admitted to SMS Hospital died on Thursday evening. They said that this woman was a resident of the same Ramganj area, where the highest number of cases of corona virus infection have been reported in Jaipur city.
An indefinite curfew has been imposed in this area for the past several days. An official said that a 65-year-old woman from Ramganj in Jaipur was admitted to SMS Hospital on Wednesday. She was suffering from pneumonia as well as high blood pressure. She was corona infected and was put on a ventilator. She died on Thursday.
This is the first death due to coronavirus infection in Jaipur’s Ramganj area and the second in the city. Earlier on April 5, a person from Galta Ghat had died. With this, the number of deaths due to this infection in the state has gone up to eight. Till late Thursday night, a total of 463 cases of coronavirus infection were reported in the state, out of which 168 cases were in Jaipur. Most of these cases are also from Ramganj area.
Meanwhile, 26 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in the state. This has increased the total number of infection cases in the state to 489. Additional Chief Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh said that out of the new cases, 12 have been reported in Banswara, eight in Pokhran Jaisalmer and three in Jhalawar.…Read more by Sandhya Hirani
