AND KELLIANNE THAT 5:00 ADVISORY HASN’T COME IN YET. IT ACTUALLY JUST IS IN NOW. WE HAVE A TROPICAL STORM HELENE STILL AT THE 5:00. ADVISORY WINDS OF 65MPH. PRESSURE NOW DOWN TO 985 MILLIBARS AT THE 2:00 AM ADVISORY. IT WAS AT 991. SO THE PRESSURE IS DROPPING. IT’S CONTINUING TO STRENGTHEN, AND OUR WINDS ARE GRADUALLY PICKING UP. HERE’S AT 5 A.M. TRACK FROM THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER LATER ON TODAY. GOING TO BECOME A HURRICANE FROM THERE STRENGTHENING TO A CATEGORY TWO HURRICANE AS IT GOES. RAPID INTENSIFICATION. AND THEN BY TOMORROW IT WILL BE A MAJOR CATEGORY THREE HURRICANE WITH WINDS OF 120MPH. IT WILL MAKE LANDFALL IN THE BIG BEND AREA AS A MAJOR HURRICANE. FROM THERE, WORKING UP TOWARDS GEORGIA AND THEN BACK TOWARDS THE NORTHWEST. HERE ARE THE LATEST ADVISORIES NOW FOR CENTRAL FLORIDA. THIS IS NEW WITH THE 5:00 ADVISORY TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF WESTERN MARION COUNTY. A HURRICANE WARNING IN EFFECT AND THEN ALONG THE BIG BEND AREA, A HURRICANE WARNING IN EFFECT AS WELL. HERE LOCALLY, THOUGH, THINGS ARE NICE AND QUIET. TO START OFF, OUR WEDNESDAY MORNING. COUPLE OF SHOWERS, SOME HEAVIER DOWNPOURS WORKING AWAY FROM SATELLITE BEACH TOWARDS ROCKLEDGE AND COCOA. A COUPLE OF SHOWERS WORKING TOWARDS WEDGEFIELD AND BITHLO AND A FEW MORE SHOWERS WORKING TOWARDS THE OAK HILL AREA FROM THE CAPE. THE WIDER PERSPECTIVE SHOWS ALL OF THIS CLOUD COVER STREAMING INTO CENTRAL FLORIDA AT THE SAME TIME. NOT A LOT OF RAINFALL YET. THERE ARE SOME OUTER FEEDER BANDS WORKING INTO PARTS OF SOUTH FLORIDA AND THE KEYS. AND AS WE GO THROUGHOUT THE DAY TODAY, SOME OF THOSE MAY MAKE THEIR WAY INTO PARTS OF CENTRAL FLORIDA. BUT ERIC THE KEY RIGHT NOW THAT WE’RE FOCUSED ON FOR AT LEAST TODAY, IS HOW THAT TRACK IS GOING TO SHIFT. RIGHT. AND JUST LOOKING AT THE LAST ABOUT 24 HOURS OF HURRICANE CENTER FORECASTS, THE RED IS THAT 5 A.M. LINE. AND WE’RE JUST KIND OF TRYING TO SEE ANY KIND OF NUDGES. OKAY. THE RED IS THE CURRENT FORECAST JUST IN. THEN YOU HAVE ORANGE YELLOW, GREEN AND BLUE. SO OUR CURRENT FORECAST HAS NUDGED TO THE LEFT BY ABOUT 23 MILES. SO THAT’S GOOD. IT’S NOT A HUGE SHIFT BUT IT’S STILL JUST A LITTLE BIT OF A SHIFT. AND IT’S ALMOST THE FURTHEST WEST. THE HURRICANE CENTER HAS FORECAST THIS TO BE. SO CONSISTENCY OVERALL A VERY VERY GOOD THING. BASED ON ALL THE DATA WE’RE SEEING. HERE’S WHAT WE’RE EXPECTING FOR MARION SUMTER, LAKE AND POLK COUNTIES. WINDS SUSTAINED 35 TO 45 MILES AN HOUR WITH GUSTS 65 TO EVEN 75, WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS BEING HERE IN WESTERN MARION COUNTY, 3 TO 6IN OF RAIN CAN’T BE RULED OUT. THERE EITHER. SEMINOLE ORANGE, OSCEOLA COUNTIES. MAX GUSTS RUNNING 45 TO 55 MILES AN HOUR. AND ALONG OUR EAST COAST COMMUNITIES, MY FRIENDS, WE’RE TALKING ABOUT 35 TO 45 MILE PER HOUR GUSTS. BUT BASICALLY JUST A BREEZY DAY. WORST OF THE WEATHER IS GOING TO BE TOMORROW, THOUGH. SOME OF THAT FEEDER BAND ACTION WILL BE MOVING THROUGH AS EARLY AS THIS AFTERNOON. OUTSIDE THIS MORNING, THOUGH, IT’S WEDNESDAY, WE HAVE WORK. WE HAVE SCHOOL, AND WE HAVE NICE QUIET WEATHER DOWNTOWN ORLANDO LOOKING LOVELY. OUR DAY PLANNER FORECAST SHOWING PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES, BUT WE’RE GETTING INTO IMPACT WEATHER LATER ON. ONLY BECAUSE THAT’S WHEN SOME OF THOSE FEEDER BANDS SHOULD START MOVING INTO CENTRAL FLORIDA. SO HOW DOES THIS IMPACT YOU? WE’VE GOT FUTURECAST RUNNING EVERY HOUR. WE’LL GIVE YOU A BRAND NEW MODEL DATA PLUS METEOROLOGIST KELLIANNE KLASS AND I ARE BREAKING DOWN THE THREATS AROUND CENTRAL FLORIDA JUST SO THAT, YOU KNOW, IT’S NOT THE SAME FOR

Even though models don’t show the center of Helene passing through Central Florida, it’s important to understand impacts will be felt everywhere. The biggest threats in Central Florida in association with this tropical system include heavy rain, potential flooding, gusty winds and the potential for tornadoes.

According to the NWS, tropical moisture is expected to increase in east Central Florida on Wednesday as outer rain bands begin to move northward. Here’s what to expect in your county as the storm moves across the state:
