This is a press release from Senior News:

This issue is about our origins — “Where We Come From” — with stories about our roots and backgrounds. It was fun to put together. There’s a truly marvelous story from Ron White about being Black in America; a photo of Mark Larson’s family on the plains of South Dakota in the early 1900s; Jerry Rohde’s Chicago “Jungle” roots; and Brenda Cooper’s Tennessee hillbilly past. We have celebrations of Humboldt from Seabury Gould and Mary McCutcheon, and Toni Piper’s thwarted genealogical search for her forebears. Lots more great stories.

The editor is so grateful to everyone who contributes to Senior News, and everyone who reads it. Keep those cards & letters & stories coming!

This issue is out now. Online by Friday.

Now it’s time to hit you up for coming issues.
