After flying high against Caseville on Tuesday, North Huron came back down to earth. The Warriors took a hard 36-20 fall against the All Saints Central Cougars on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 565th, while the Cougars are ranked 281st).

North Huron dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for All Saints Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, North Huron will be playing at home against Ubly at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for All Saints Central, they won’t have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Eagles’ rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.…Read more by Team Reports
