HGTV personalities Dave and Jenny Marrs are known for some pretty iconic renovation flips and builds. While most of their projects are targeted toward human clients, one undertaking was quite the opposite. In “Fixer to Fabulous” season 4, episode 14, the couple works on a home for the Pryor family, who have moved to Bentonville, Arkansas, where the Marrses have their stunning home, from Seattle. To commemorate the Pryors’ roots, Dave Marrs designs and builds a row of birdhouses that look like they could be straight out of the rainy city.
The birdhouses, made for the family’s backyard out of old barn wood, are decked out with a little skyline of the city that includes landmarks such as the Pike Place Fish Market. In what Jenny Marrs calls the “epic bird city”, there’s a unique bird feeder: a chick-sized replica of the Space Needle tower. Those legendary structures, along with a couple of tall building formations, make up an impressive bird-sized skyline. “There might even be birds that fly south for the winter from Seattle just to come live here,” Jenny jokes to Dave.…Read more by Keena Alwahaidi
