It’s going to be cold in Orchard Park on Sunday, with temperatures in the teens dipping into the single digits with wind chill when the Buffalo Bills take on the Baltimore Ravens.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the mid-teens, which will make it a frigid affair, but still far away from the coldest game at Highmark Stadium. In fact, it’s not even set to be the coldest playoff game in Orchard Park in the past few years.
Here are the four coldest games in Buffalo Bills history, ranked by air temperature:
This divisional playoff game came during the last Super Bowl run by the Bills and is one of the coldest games in NFL history for any team. Quarterback Jim Kelly led the team to victory, passing for 287 yards in the 29-23 victory for Buffalo.
Another frigid game during the Bills run of four AFC Championship games, this matchup was another victory for the Bills that secured the division title. Despite a trio of turnovers, the Bills managed to win 16-14.

The Bills won their first AFC East title since 1980 in this game, which saw Buffalo take the victory, 37-21. Thurman Thomas had 106 yards and a touchdown on just 14 attempts to carry the team.
A cathartic beatdown of the Patriots was played in single-digit weather, with quarterback Josh Allen passing for 308 yards and 5 touchdowns. The cold temperatures were no match for the Bills in this one, with the home team besting the over/under total on their own.
