After blowing our minds away as Batman, Robert Pattinson will now be seen in Bong Joon-ho’s upcoming sci-fi comedy, Mickey 17. The film revolves around Mickey Barnes, a disposable employee sent on a human expedition. After working with the South Korean director, Robert Pattinson paid a visit to the country where he and Bong Joon-ho tried some delicious, although spicy, Korean food.
Now, Robert Pattinson may fight dragons and keep Gotham City away from harm, but his one true enemy is definitely spicy food. Perhaps he needs to take a few lessons from another superhero next door – Elizabeth Olsen.
Robert Pattinson and Bong Joon-ho recently paid a visit to Seoul, South Korea, for the promotion of their upcoming film, Mickey 17. There, the director-actor duo sat down at a restaurant to try some authentic Korean food.
As they sat in front of a spread boasting a variety of dishes, poor Pattinson didn’t know what was going to hit him soon. What they described as “the mild one” actually turned out to be a spicy dish ready to burn Pattinson’s insides!
Right after taking the first bite, Pattinson knew he was in a mess. He exclaimed, “That’s the medium?! My God! That’s quite spicy. I’m such a baby. I’m literally like, I’m sweating already.”
When Joon-ho finally exchanged their bowls, Pattinson understood that they were playing a prank on him. Watch the video below:
Well, it looks like Pattinson really needs to work on his spice tolerance if he wants to give Elizabeth Olsen some serious competition, or any at all.
Three years ago, Olsen appeared on First We Feast‘s Hot Ones challenge where celebrities basically come to torture themselves for our fun. As they try a series of hot sauces ranging from mild to wild, their reactions keep getting better and better with time.
While some guests like Gordon Ramsay absolutely lose their cool on the show, others like Ariana Grande are more composed. Olsen falls in the latter category.
Even when she came face-to-face with Sean Evans‘ infamous ‘Da Bomb,’ which sends people into overdrive, the most she had to say about it was, “I don’t even like it…“
By the end of the line-up, Olsen sat there straight and proud, looking the least bit worried about the attack that just took place on her tongue and taste buds. Well, she essentially just put an end to the debate about the strongest MCU superhero.
As for Pattinson, there is still a long way to go for him if he wants to make his Hot Ones debut!
