Linda M. Huntington

Linda M. Huntington, 75, formerly of Jamestown and Ripley, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing. Linda M. Huntington, 75, formerly of Jamestown and Ripley, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing.

Born March 27, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Emily Burnham Sears.

She was a graduate of Ripley High School and Jamestown Business College.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Jamestown Metal Corp. as an office worker. She earlier had worked for McDonald Construction.

She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses East congregation.

Surviving is her daughter Amy (Kenneth) Olson of Kingsland, GA; grandchildren Christopher Fisk, Angela Thompson and Heather Gates; great-grandchildren Graham Fisk, John Gates and Bryson Gates, and a sister Diane Shields of Ocala, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Huntington, whom she married Dec. 21, 1968, and who died March 23, 2008; two sons Michael and Currie Huntington, and her beloved cat Rocky.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Jamestown Jehovah’s Witnesses or Chautauqua County Humane Society.
