Kevin Saxton is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Kansas City Chiefs and he’s headed to the Super Bowl for the second straight year.
The former quarterback for the Emory & Henry University Wasps will be on the sideline at the New Orleans Superdome for Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9 as the Kansas City Chiefs collected a 32-29 victory over the Buffalo Bills in Sunday’s AFC championship game.
Saxton works with the offense in his role on coach Andy Reid’s staff.
A record-setting quarterback from 2014-2017 and later an offensive coordinator at E&H, he also had stints as an assistant coach at Benedict College in South Carolina and at a high school in North Carolina.
