President Zardari to embark on state visit to China from February 4

President Asif Ali Zardari is set to undertake a state visit to China from February 4 to 8, 2025, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

During his visit, President Zardari will engage in discussions with key Chinese leaders, including President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang, in Beijing.

The talks will focus on enhancing Pakistan-China relations, particularly in areas such as economic and trade cooperation, counter-terrorism efforts, and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Both sides will deliberate on regional and global geopolitical developments and their collaborative efforts in multilateral forums.

At the special invitation of the Chinese government, President Zardari will also participate in the inaugural ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.
