THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision near Reading.
At around 2.55pm on Monday, February 3, a Tesla, a highways’ lorry, and a blue Audi Q2 were involved in a collision on the A329M Reading to Winnersh Road.
The driver of the Audi sustained serious injuries which included a broken collar bone and broken ribs.
She was treated in hospital but has since been discharged.
A 55-year-old man from Richmond-upon-Thames, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and driving a motor vehicle while over the prescribed limit for alcohol. He has been released under investigation.
Investigating officer PC Jon Wildridge of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “This collision has occurred on a busy stretch of the A329M in the middle of the afternoon, and I’m confident there will have been witnesses to what has happened.
“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this, or who may have dash-cam footage, to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
