Breeze Airways adds another nonstop flight to Florida from Raleigh-Durham airport

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The nonstop flights from RDU continue to roll out, with Breeze Airways adding nonstop service to Daytona Beach, Florida. RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The nonstop flights from RDU continue to roll out, with Breeze Airways adding nonstop service to Daytona Beach, Florida.

The low-cost airline carrier announced that starting Wednesday that starting now, Feb. 13, passengers in Raleigh looking to fly directly to Daytona could get there in just 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Just over a week ago, Breeze Airways announced five other nonstop flights from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport to Pensacola and Orlando in Florida, in addition to Memphis, Tennessee, Rochester and Albany in New York.

The RDU is seeing more flight services arrive at the airport, as Avelo Airlines just started their international flights to the Caribbean on Wednesday.

In addition to more flights, the local airport is seeing more passengers. RDU set a new record of over 15.5 million people looking to fly to or from Raleigh in 2024.…Read more by Starletta Watson
