MoECC launches Qatar Environment Day 2026 logo

DOHA: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has unveiled the logo for Qatar Environment Day 2026 under the theme ‘Our Behavior… Is Reflected in Our Environment’,highlighting the core relationship between people and their environment and underscoring that responsible environmental behavior directly contributes to protecting ecosystems and conserving natural resources.

The slogan embodies the concept of environmental responsibility as a shared commitment between individuals and relevant stakeholders, reflected in daily practices such as respecting vegetation cover, preserving parks’ cleanliness, protecting marine life, and complying with environmental laws and regulations, all of which reinforce the notion of environmental sustainability.

Marking Qatar Environment Day, observed annually on February 26, the slogan also promotes a sense of environmental belonging by encouraging a shift in how the environment is perceived, from a resource to be consumed to a value to be preserved, using clear and accessible language that resonates with all segments of society and helps instill environmental awareness across all age groups.

To mark the occasion, the ministry will organize a number of awareness activities aimed at strengthening the community’s connection to the local environment, introducing its terrestrial and marine components, and fostering positive and sustainable environmental behaviors, as part of its efforts to raise environmental awareness and achieve sustainable development goals.…Read more by QNA
