Callywith College has announced a new scheme in partnership with Stagecoach, offering schools and community groups across Cornwall access to a coach for educational trips.

The offer will run from Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd July 2026, with one coach available each day between 9:00am and 4:00pm. It is open to organisations within the PL postcode area.

The scheme is designed to help schools and groups take part in educational experiences by removing transport barriers. By providing access to a coach, the aim is to ensure that cost does not prevent participation in trips that support learning outside the classroom.

Cornwall provides a wide range of potential destinations for these trips, including:
• Coastlines and beaches for exploring nature and the environment
• Historic towns, harbours and villages offering insight into local history and culture
• Countryside areas and walking trails for geography and wellbeing activities

Trips must take place within Cornwall and West Devon. The eastern boundary is defined by a line running from Plymouth to Tavistock, Okehampton and Barnstaple, with all destinations required to fall west of this line.

What Groups Need to Know

Organisations applying will need to ensure that both their chosen pickup point and destination are accessible for a coach. All trips will also be subject to a risk assessment carried out by Stagecoach.

Only one application is permitted per organisation.

Groups interested in taking part can apply by completing the online form here: 👉 Apply for the coach scheme

The closing date for applications is Thursday 30th April.
