Valerie Zoe LaMar – The Press Democrat

Valerie Zoe LaMar, 64, died March 13, 2026, in Santa Rosa, CA. She is survived by her sister Sealy Racelle LaMar and brother-in-law Jeffery Penner, her nephew Jared Penner and wife Skyler Thayer, her in-laws Celeste and Vern Keith, and her God daughter Kamie Stack. She is preceded in death by her parents, James W. and LaRue LaMar, and by her husband, Thomas Teel Behnke, II. She is also survived by “her person,” Nancy Hood, extended family for more than 45 years, who lived with and cared for Valerie for the past 14 years. The Celebration of Life will be held April 25, 2026, at 3 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave. in Santa Rosa.
