First Community Bank announced the promotion of Tyler Choate to senior vice president, commercial lending. The bank also announced the promotion of Daniel Kemper to senior vice president, trust and wealth management officer.

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis appointed Curtis Barnett, president and chief executive officer of Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, to its Healthcare Industry Council. Suzanne Peyton, executive director of Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, has been named to the Transportation Industry Council.

Psychiatrist Naama Hegenbarth has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as an assistant professor in the College of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry.
