Dialybrid, a Cantù, Italy-based provider of a vascular access solution for hemodialysis, raised €15M in Series A funding.
The round was led by XGEN Venture, with participation from CDP Venture Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to advance the clinical development of its Silkothane Arteriovenous Graft as a hemodialysis vascular access, and for preclinical development of the Silkothane® material in other vascular applications.
Led by CEO Francesco Giovanni Greco, Dialybrid is a clinical-stage medical device company developing novel arteriovenous vascular grafts based on Silkothane, a patented hybrid material consisting of silk fibroin and polyurethane. Their platform integrates silk fibroin and polyurethane via electrospinning to deliver a partially resorbable vascular access solution that supports endogenous tissue remodeling while providing mechanical durability.
