Zeenat Aman praises Alia Bhatt’s ‘Love & War’ look

Alia Bhatt’s first look from Love & War drew attention online, with veteran actress Zeenat Aman also reacting to her cabaret-inspired appearance.

Alia had shared two posters from the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial on Friday. In the images, she had appeared on stage in a feathered headpiece, crop top and skirt with a thigh-high slit, completing the look with boots.

The posters had soon received reactions from social media users. Zeenat Aman, who had been known for her memorable screen appearances in films featuring cabaret performances during the 1970s, also commented on Alia’s look.

Alia had replied to the veteran actress and said that Zeenat had often been discussed on the sets of Love & War.

“@thezeenataman Thank you so much, Zeenat Ma’am. We’ve spoken about you countless times on set, so this feels extra special,” Alia had written.

Zeenat had later shared one of Alia’s posters on her Instagram Stories. Along with the picture, she had written, “The 70’s are back and cabaret never looked this good!”

Love & War had been written, directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
