KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) has opened applications for its Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) 2026 in Saudi Arabia. The program invites international students in STEM fields to gain hands-on research experience in advanced laboratories.
The internship targets bachelor’s and master’s students from all nationalities. It runs for 3 to 6 months, and participants can choose flexible start and end dates. KAUST aims to build a diverse global research community through this initiative.
Selected interns will work under expert faculty members on cutting-edge projects. The research areas include science, engineering, technology, environment, energy, water, computer science, mathematics, and biological sciences.
KAUST fully funds the program. It provides a $1,000 monthly stipend, round-trip airfare, private accommodation, health insurance, and access to campus facilities and social activities.
To qualify, applicants must be in at least the third year of a bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a master’s program. They must hold a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4 and show strong English skills. KAUST does not accept PhD students, KAUST alumni, or current KAUST students.

Applicants must submit a CV, academic transcripts, a personal statement, a passport copy, and two recommendation letters. They must upload all documents through the official KAUST VSRP online portal.
