(BPRW) High Museum of Art Announces Four New Board Members

(Black PR Wire) ATLANTA, — The High Museum of Art announced the appointment of four new board members today to serve three-year terms: Nikki Crump, Monica Howard Douglas, Johanna Ellis Reisinger and Dawanna Williams.

“As we celebrate our centennial anniversary in 2026, we are looking ahead to the High’s next 100 years, striving to be a dynamic, intentional and essential contributor to the cultural fabric of our city,” said the High’s Director Rand Suffolk. “Our new board members are uniquely positioned to help us achieve these goals, and we look forward to working with them to build a stronger museum.”

Nikki Crump is an advertising and marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience leading integrated marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies. An arts advocate, Crump has been a member of the planning committee for the High’s David C. Driskell Prize Gala since 2024, helping to shape one of the museum’s signature annual fundraising events. She serves on the Fulton County Arts Council and is a member of the Black Trustee Alliance for Art Museums (BTA), a national network dedicated to advancing inclusive leadership and governance across art museums. Crump earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Florida A&M University, a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Florida, and an Executive MBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership at Steinbeis University.

Since 2021, Monica Howard Douglas has served as executive vice president and global general counsel of The Coca-Cola Company, where she oversees the company’s legal function. She joined Coca-Cola in 2004 as senior managing counsel and went on to hold roles of increasing responsibility, including as legal director for Coca-Cola Southern and East Africa, before being named general counsel for Coca-Cola North America in 2018. Prior to Coca-Cola, Douglas was an attorney with Equifax and an associate at Troutman Sanders LLP, now known as Troutman Pepper Locke, both in Atlanta. She also serves on the governing board of Woodward Academy and the board of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan, where she received her bachelor’s degree. She earned her law degree from Stanford University.

Johanna Ellis Reisinger is a third-generation business leader, philanthropist and community builder who has focused her career on developing people, strengthening organizations and building meaningful partnerships. She served as president and dealer principal of Atlanta Classic Cars and Infiniti of Memphis before redirecting her leadership toward community impact. Ellis Reisinger cofounded Root Local, a metro Atlanta nonprofit advancing conservation through education, collaboration and collective impact, and serves as chair of its board of directors. She also serves on the boards of the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta and Open Hand Atlanta, where she chaired the successful $19.5 million “Healing Power of Food” capital campaign. A patron of the High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction for nearly two decades, Ellis Reisinger is deeply committed to strengthening Atlanta’s philanthropic and civic community.

Georgia native Dawanna Williams is the managing principal and founder of Dabar Development Partners, a real estate development and investment firm. Prior to founding Dabar in 2003, she worked as a commercial real estate lawyer, spending most of her career at Sidley Austin LLP. She has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and is an active supporter of the arts, including as a board member of the Apollo Theater. She also serves on the boards of Compass, Inc. and ACRES Commercial Realty Corp. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Smith College, a master’s degree from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government and a law degree from Maryland School of Law.

Crump, Douglas, Ellis Reisinger and Williams join the 45 other members of the High’s Board of Directors, including Chair Dan S. Baldwin.
