Two killed in Rainier Valley shooting

Police are investigating a shooting early Saturday morning in Rainier Valley that killed a man and a woman.

About 2:45 a.m., officers responded to reports of a collision around the intersection of South Graham Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way South, according to the Seattle Police Department.

Officers arrived and found a vehicle that had crashed over the curb,” according to the department’s police blotter. “A man and woman inside the vehicle were suffering from gunshot wounds.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man was transported to Harborview Medical Center, where he later died.

Homicide detectives are working to determine what led to the shooting, according to the blotter, but don’t have anyone in custody and don’t have any outstanding suspects so far.
