The 2026 nominations for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame are in, and this year’s list spans decades of pop and rock history. Organizers confirmed that artists become eligible 25 years after their first commercial release, opening the door to a mix of established icons and first-time contenders.

Among the headline names are Phil Collins, recognized for his solo work and earlier success with Genesis, along with British bandleader Sade, whose catalog shaped adult contemporary and R&B radio in the 1980s and 1990s. Liam Gallagher also appears on the ballot, marking a notable solo nomination for the former Oasis singer.

The Hall’s voting body, made up of artists, historians, and music industry professionals, will determine the final inductees. Fans will also have a chance to participate through a public ballot that contributes to the overall tally.

Final selections are expected to be announced later this year, with the induction ceremony scheduled for 2026.…Read more by
