The Blood of Dawnwalker Gameplay, Release Date and PC System Requirements

Rebel Wolves, a new studio formed by former Witcher 3 and CD Projekt Red veterans, debuted the first gameplay for its upcoming action-RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker, alongside a confirmed release date. The game’s PC system requirements were also detailed.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is a vampire themed dark fantasy action-RPG where players take on the role of Coen, a human/vampire hybrid that traverses both day and night – each change of time affecting his abilities. During the day, Coen can use swords while at night, he can tap into his vampiric abilities. These include the ability to walk on walls, Shadowstep, and initiate combat using his claws and teeth for health regeneration. Yes, it all sounds a lot like Blade.

In the 10 minutes of gameplay footage published by Rebel Wolves, it was confirmed that the game would feature an open world setting. The synopsis for The Blood of Dawnwalker reads:

“Fourteenth-century Europe is engulfed in chaos – bloody wars tear the continent apart, and the Black Death takes a deadly toll. This moment of weakness is seized by a clique of powerful vampires. The time of great change is coming – for everyone. You play as Coen, a young man who has become a Dawnwalker – no longer human, but not fully a vampire, sharing the strengths and weaknesses of both worlds.”
