The Green Bay Packers take on the Carolina Panthers in an NFC matchup at Bank of America Stadium in Week 16.

The Packers are looking to snap a two-game skid that dropped them out of the current playoff picture. Green Bay (6-8) currently sits as the 11th seed and likely needs to win its final three games to make the postseason.

Green Bay (6-8) lost to Tampa Bay, 34-20, last week. Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield threw for 381 passing yards and four touchdowns, becoming the second quarterback in NFL history (Aaron Rodgers) to post a perfect passer rating (158.3) at Lambeau Field.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love was 29 of 39 for 284 yards with touchdown passes to Tucker Kraft and Jayden Reed.

Despite the loss, Green Bay has a chance to make the playoffs if it wins its final three games against Carolina, Minnesota and Chicago. In the topsy-turvy NFC, this isn’t a far-fetched concept.

The Panthers (2-12) picked up their second win of the season last week, knocking off the Falcons, 9-7, in a steady downpour in Charlotte. Eddy Pineiro kicked the game-winning, 23-yard field goal as time expired. Pineiro has made 30 consecutive field goals at Bank of America Stadium.

Carolina quarterback Bryce Young was 18 for 24 for 167 yards. Panthers cornerback Donte Jackson exited the game in the fourth quarter with a back injury, and his status against the Packers is uncertain.
