A CALL for unity on school signs was made by Cllr Mike Smith at the council meeting of Thursday, March 21.
He said Loddon Primary School has a flashing lights 20mph sign on the Silverdale Road entrance, but a school warning sign on Hillside Road. He wanted both to be the same.
Cllr Paul Fishwick, executive member for highways, told the council chamber: “There is a step-by-step process. Officers will have a look and assess. If it’s worth going ahead, a scheme will be drawn up, and go to public consultation. If everything is fine after that, a traffic regulation order will be made.”…Read more by Phil Creighton
