SHOPPERS have been left impressed after spotting £12.50 bikes in their local Tesco.

One mum uploaded a photo from her local supermarket, which had kids bikes for girls and boys discounted to just over a tenner.

Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the woman uploaded a photo of her purse-friendly find.

It showed how there were two Evo balance bikes available in the children’s range.

The first had a unicorn on the front and was a blue shade, while the second was green and featured a crocodile.

Both looked ideal for young kids looking to start out with their bike riding, with the box stating they have a 20kg weight limit.

Sharing some more information about her find, she wrote: “Just picked up one of these in Tesco Consett for £12.50

Hundreds of people have liked the woman’s post and seemed keen to snap up the bikes for their families.

One person wrote: “that’s so cute need to go get one.”

Another added: “Think I need to take a trip to Tesco.”

A third commented: “ I’m gonna have a look tomorrow.”

We recently shared how a mum nabbed three free items from Tesco, and revealed how you can too.

Crowe Alianne took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and posted a snap of the items she managed to snap up for free.

Amongst them includes Fairy Max Power, which usually retails at £3, Fairy Fresh in wash scent boosters, £5.40, and a pack of £3.40 Always Platinum sanitary towels.

Deciding not to gatekeep, she revealed all and urged shoppers: “Be sure you to check your coupons and get a receipt at self service checkout.

“I got these three items free using coupons from Tesco.”

And she wasn’t the only delighted customer who managed to get her hands on some freebies either.

Another happy shopper named Gethin shared a snap of his receipt and explained exactly how the coupons work in a little more detail.

“Popped to Tesco for a few things, then I got a receipt at the end for some free Ariel pods (for my mum), but to get them free you need this coupon (got it at self service after paying),” he wrote.…Read more by Becky Pemberton
